Notice of Election

The general election for Community Councils (Delegates and Community Council
members if any) will be held on March 21, 2024. Elected candidates will serve a two-year
term. In addition, elected Delegates will attend the annual Tribal Assembly.
Tribal citizens 18 years of age or older as of March 21, 2024, who wish to declare their
candidacy, must timely submit a Declaration of Intent to Serve form.
The elections for all Community Councils will be conducted by electronic voting.

Important Dates:
Nomination Period: January 26, 2024 − February 9, 2024
Voter/Ballot Information Mailed: February 23, 2024
Voting Opens: 8:00AM AKST February 23, 2024
Voting Closes: 4:30 PM AKST March 21, 2024

Voter Eligibility Requirements:
• Eighteen (18) years of age by March 21, 2024 or older.
• Enrolled citizen of Tlingit & Haida on March 21, 2024.
• Listed on the Official Voting List for the Community you are registered with.
