2024 Election Summary

The San Francisco Tlingit and Haida Community (SFTHC) elections for Delegate to the Central Council of Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska Tribal Assembly (Central Council) and Community Council member will occur between January 26th and the Election Day of March 21st. The election for Delegates and Council members will be held on March 21, 2024. SFTHC is allocated 7 Delegates who will be the Council members. The Delegate allocation is posted on the SFTHC website and FaceBook page and online at:

The 7 candidates receiving the highest number of votes will be elected both Delegate and Council member.

Elected Delegates and Council members will serve a two-year term. In addition, elected Delegates will attend the annual Tribal Assembly.

SFTHC enrolled members who are 18 years of age or older as of March 21, 2024, who wish to declare their candidacy, must timely submit a Declaration of Intent to Serve form between January 26th and February 9th. The Declaration form will be posted on the SFTHC website and Facebook page, and online at:
